Hilary has always had a passion for technical drawing with pen and pencil, which she enhanced during her architectural training at Brighton University. She has lived in Burgess Hill (West Sussex) for the last 12 years, and a few years ago concentrated on, and developed her unique form of art. She has drawn the elevations of many buildings, mainly in Sussex and London, from Royal Palaces to small terraced cottages. Drawings of The Natural History Museum, two details of The Midland Hotel at St Pancras Station, a Trio of buildings in Kensington and a building in Barcellona by Gaudi were hung in the Royal Academy Summer exhibitions of 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2004 respectively.
